Laser Tattoo removal is a service that gets rid of unwanted tattoos over a series of sessions. The energy from the laser breaks down the tattoo ink into tiny fragments, which are absorbed into the blood stream and safely passed out of the body. The laser we use is a ND Yag Q-Switch the gold standard for tattoo removal it provides precise, comfortable and consistent results. This particular laser is developed to target the difficult blue and green pigment in aged tattoos
When will I see results?
Every tattoo is different the components that make up the ink such as metals and colours are impossible to know so it is unknown how they will take to laser and how deep they are imbedded in the skin. The ink is applied in the epidermis and the laser must take layers off at a time for more of the tattoo to resurface starting at a low frequency and gradually increasing the intensity therefore this can be a long process to avoid damaging the skin.

What is the Pre-Care
- Shave the tattoo area 24 hours before hand (This does not apply to eyebrows removal)
- Avoid applying any products on areas of treatment
- Avoid exposing the skin to UV light (sunlight & sunbeds) or applying tanning products
- Ensure the area is clear of any rashes, spots, irritation and inflammation
What is the After-Care?
- Avoid facials (for facial treatments) (2 weeks)
- Avoid shaving, waxing, tweezing, and threading (2 weeks)
- No Direct sun exposure (2 weeks)
- No hot baths/showers, terpid water only (24 Hours)
- No Heat related treatments- Sauna/Swimming/Sunbeds (7 Days)
- Avoid Deodorant/perfumes and scented body lotions (24 Hours)
- Drink 8-10 Glasses of water daily to help with the healing process

- Only Suitable for people over the age of 18
- History of Skin cancer

- Have abnormal skin conditions, active infectious

- Have a disease stimulated by light (lupus/Epilepsy)
- Tattoos Younger than 6 months
- Skin damaged by sun (burnt) or with tanning products

- Use of Roaccutane/accutane within the last 6 months
